These scams involve individuals falsely claiming affiliation with PCCI, offering registration services through unofficial channels, and failing to deliver valid documents.
Scammers have been operating through fake Facebook accounts, using dummy names and stolen profile images to appear credible. In several cases, they have misused the official PCCI logo to create a false sense of legitimacy. Victims are typically instructed to send payments to personal bank accounts or mobile wallets, methods that are not sanctioned by PCCI.
These deceptive practices result in financial loss and erode trust within the canine community. PCCI urges all dog owners and breeders to remain vigilant and transact only through official channels.
